About Us

Treat.ED provides support, inspiration, and treatment referrals for eating disorder recovery. Our interactive directory, online magazine, and daily activity on the most popular social networks all provide an easy way for those in need of treatment to find help.

Treat.ED is committed to giving back. Twenty-five percent (25%) of all profits are donated to organizations that provide financial assistance to those seeking eating disorder recovery.

Education

Treat.ED’s education efforts are three-fold:

  1. Education of those who are struggling with an eating disorder. Through this education, we empower them to improve their lives.
  2. Education of family members and friends of those with eating disorders. This helps them provide more effective support to their loved ones.
  3. Education of the public to reduce misunderstandings and misconceptions about eating disorders. This reduces stigmatization of those in need of help.

Advocacy

Have you ever wanted to take a stand to better the lives of those impacted by eating disorders? Our members have years of experience doing just that, which is why we continue to advocate for the rights and welfare of those with eating disorders.

Treat.ED specifically aims to ensure that everyone dealing with an eating disorder is able to access the treatment they want and need. Twenty-five percent (25%) of all profits are donated to organizations that provide financial assistance to those seeking eating disorder recovery.

Treatment Referral

Treat.ED maintains a nation-wide network of mental health professionals, dieticians, physicians, group practices, and treatment centers which specialize in eating disorder recovery.

Choosing a treatment team is a crucial step in the recovery process. Help is out there; you just need to find it.

Giving Back

Treatment can be expensive, but no one should suffer because of an inability to pay for help. Treat.ED is committed to giving back to the community. Twenty-five percent (25%) of all profits are donated to organizations that provide financial assistance to those seeking eating disorder recovery.
