My goal is to provide an accepting and empathetic environment where you can feel safe, supported and respected throughout the therapy process. I work with individuals (adults/adolescents), families and couples. I specialize in working with those experiencing issues including but not limited to: PTSD/trauma, disordered eating, depression, anxiety, phobias, infertility, miscarriage, birth-related trauma, and postpartum issues. My hope is that I can provide you with a strong therapeutic relationship that will assist you in achieving a sense of self-acceptance while on your journey to a deep and meaningful life.I integrate a blend of therapies that best meet my client's needs, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) & Mindfulness based techniques. I'm certified in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing), which is an effective form of trauma treatment. I'm genuine and "real." I've been touched by or dealt with many of the issues that I help others overcome- including struggling with an eating disorder as a young adult. I believe that it is helpful to talk to someone who has walked where you've walked. I'd be honored if you'd let me be that person for you. Visit me at www.AnewpathAZ.com.
